Commercially licensed by Irish Marine Survey Office and UK’s MCA for operations in Irish and UK coastal waters.
Coastal Zone Services have just taken delivery of their new Stormforce 7.4 metre Rib. Built by Redbay Boats of Cushendall Co Antrim in 2013, the “Valdariya” was recently displayed at the Boat show in Southampton. Redbay have developed an excellent reputation for the safe, tough, rugged nature of their boats. The design and build quality of Redbays boats have helped to make them the RIB of choice for many commercial operators.

Powered by Suzuki 250HP 4 stroke engine and with sprint speed circa 45 knots and operational cruising speed 25 knots –
The Stormforce 7.4 is a powerful sea boat, featuring a deep V hull form, which contributes to its top class performance in rough offshore conditions.The deep V hull is combined with sprayrails to produce additional lift and improve the hydrodynamics of the hull. It also features 22″ diameter tubes designed to sit firmly in contact with the water surface while at rest, ensuring maximum stability.
These features combine to make the Valdariya a fast, stable and dry vessel even in challenging sea conditions.
In addition to its excellent sea keeping abilities, we chose the 7.4m Valdariya because it is the optimum size for mobility. The advantage of this sized boat is that it is transportable by trailer to any location in Ireland or the UK for rapid deployment.

- Irish MSO P3 licence for 9 (8 passengers and 1 crew)
- UK MCA Category 3 licence, including night operations for 12 (11 + 1)
